All of our pieces are 1/2 inch thick. Painted on the back and edges with a marine water and weather resistant paint. The front of the items are painted with a U.V. resistant commercial grade sign paint. It is hand painted and air brushed . We use a board called Crezon as it is made for the sign industry and is excellent for outdoor signage.
